Angela Maria Feliciano, MSW, LCSW

Angela Maria Feliciano has been a dedicated professional in forensic social work, working within the New York Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights, Criminal Defense, and Capital Divisions. she transitioned her focus to addressing the challenges faced by unaccompanied minors at the Texas-Mexico border and combating the trafficking of underage girls for domestic sex work. Through pandemic she worked as a crime victim counselor at the district attorneys office of New York City.

She is a registered and certified facilitator of evidence-based interventions, including Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) at the Basic level, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Trauma, the Circle of Security Parenting Program, and is a community presenter for the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) study. Angela employs a trauma-informed approach grounded in the Duluth Model across all services.

Currently, she practices in both Montana and New York, bringing her expertise to diverse urban and rural mental health. A Latinx mental health clinician, Angela holds a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work in New York City, with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Trauma and the study of Relational Resilience within marginalized populations.
